Apple working on iPhone anti-snatching feature that locks the device automatically

Apple is developing a new iPhone security feature that automatically locks the device when it detects it has been snatched. Using the accelerometer, Apple Watch proximity, and familiar Wi-Fi and location data, the system can identify a theft and instantly restrict access — similar to Android's Theft Detection Lock. No release date has been announced, but the feature is actively being developed.
