The Screenification Of Cars Is Creating A New Problem: Sweeping Recalls

Cars now have more screens than ever, and it's causing a wave of safety recalls. About 30 active recalls cover roughly 3.8 million vehicles in the US, mostly tied to backup cameras failing or going blank. Ford, Honda, GM, Hyundai, and others are all affected, with software glitches rather than faulty cameras being the main culprit. As vehicles become more software-driven, these problems are expected to grow.
