The avionics suite designed to let anyone fly a plane

California-based Airhart Aeronautics successfully completed test flights of its new avionics system in April 2026, aiming to make flying small private planes as simple as driving a car. The system features large 14-inch touchscreens, AI-assisted radio communication, swipe-based controls, and fly-by-wire technology that removes traditional rudder pedals, reducing pilot mental workload while keeping flights safer and more accessible to everyday people.
