Ring cameras can now recognize faces and help to find lost pets

Amazon has introduced new AI-powered features for Ring cameras that recognize familiar faces and help locate missing pets through neighborhood networks. The "Familiar Faces" feature identifies enrolled friends and family members while alerting users about unfamiliar visitors, reducing unnecessary notifications. A "Search Party" feature connects Ring users to help find lost pets by sharing descriptions and sightings through the camera network. These features launch between November and December on Ring's new 2K and 4K camera lineup, starting at $59.99.
