Microsoft built a PC that can’t run local apps

Microsoft has announced Windows 365 Link, a compact, fanless PC that connects to cloud-based Windows 365. Priced at $349 and launching in select markets in April 2025, the device offers quick boot times, dual 4K monitor support, and various connectivity options. Windows 365 Link lacks local storage and app installation capabilities, targeting enterprise customers with remote management features and eco-friendly design. The device is now available for preview in several countries.
