SignalTrace, a new surveillance system by Leonardo, works alongside license plate readers to track wireless signals from phones and other devices. It builds patterns from repeated proximity, linking anonymous signals to known vehicles and people over time, raising serious privacy concerns since movements alone can identify individuals without ever capturing their names.
