How my side project got banned from the internet

A developer's JSON editing tool called Engramma was flagged as a "deceptive site" by browsers despite containing no malicious content, triggering a month-long battle with security vendors. While Google cleared the domain in two hours, ten other security providers had also flagged it, requiring individual appeals that took one to 16 days to resolve. The root cause was a temporary redirect from the main domain to the app subdomain, which automated security systems interpreted as suspicious behavior commonly used by malicious actors.
