Google’s AI try-on feature for clothes now works with just a selfie

Google updated its AI try-on feature to work with just a selfie instead of requiring full-body photos, using its Gemini 2.5 Flash Image model to generate complete digital versions of users for virtual clothing trials. Users can select their size and choose from multiple generated images as their default try-on photo. The enhanced feature launched in the United States and builds on Google's investment in virtual try-on technology, including its separate Doppl app.
