Apple’s new AirTag is louder and can be found across longer distances

Apple launched an upgraded AirTag featuring 50% longer detection range and a speaker that's 50% louder, enabling users to hear beeps from twice the distance. The new tracker uses Apple's second-generation Ultra Wideband chip for improved precision finding with haptic, visual, and audio feedback, while maintaining the same $29 price point as the original 2021 model.
