AirTag 2 vs AirTag: Here are the expected differences

Four years after the original AirTag launched, Apple is expected to release AirTag 2 before the holiday season. The second-generation tracker will look similar to the current model but focus on three key upgrades: better range through an improved Ultra Wideband chip that extends Precision Finding to 30-90 meters (triple the current range), enhanced privacy features including a speaker that's harder to remove, and a upgraded wireless chip for better overall performance.
