X Display unveils ultra-fast, cable-free display that turns data into light

X Display has developed an optical technology that transmits vast amounts of digital data through air at rates equivalent to one million frames per second. Using thousands of ultra-fast, multi-wavelength emitters and a high-speed camera, the system sends and captures data in parallel. This innovation aims to transform connectivity in AI data centers and large computing environments, potentially replacing fiber-optic cables while offering superior energy efficiency. X Display is now working to achieve terabit-per-second data rates for high-bandwidth applications.
