Arcturus could halve the grid’s electrical losses using its nano-infused copper

Arcturus, a stealth startup, has developed nano-infused copper and aluminum that could cut electrical grid losses in half, unlocking up to 10% more electricity during peak demand. Using lasers to embed carbon nanomaterials into metals, the technology works as a drop-in replacement requiring no system redesign. Arcturus raised $8 million in seed funding.
