Mico is Microsoft's Clippy for the AI age

Microsoft launched Mico, an AI-powered animated blob that serves as the visual face of Copilot's voice mode, designed to be an expressive digital companion that listens and reacts to users. Unlike the infamous Clippy, Mico can push back respectfully while changing colors and responding to interactions. The character also powers a new educational feature called Learn Live, acting as a Socratic tutor that guides students through concepts rather than simply providing answers.
