I used Claude Code to write a piano web app

A developer tested Claude AI's coding capabilities by using it to build a complete piano web application from scratch with only basic prompts. Through simple conversational requests, Claude generated a Rails app with a playable keyboard interface, database structure for recording songs, playback controls, and JavaScript for note capture—delivering 90% of the finished product from the initial prompt. Additional refinements like naming recordings, URL hashing for privacy, and note duration tracking were seamlessly implemented through follow-up requests, demonstrating AI's potential to dramatically accelerate development workflows.
