You can now enable Claude to use your macOS computer to complete tasks

Anthropic has launched a new feature allowing Claude AI to directly control macOS computers to complete tasks autonomously. The system can open apps, navigate browsers, fill spreadsheets, and perform any desktop activity, first using connected integrations like Slack and Calendar before requesting permission to access other applications directly. Users can assign tasks from their phone and return to finished work, or set up recurring automated tasks like daily email scanning or weekly report generation.
