Two SpaceX developments might encourage Apple to switch to Starlink

Apple currently uses Globalstar for iPhone satellite services like emergency messaging, but may switch to SpaceX's Starlink after two major developments. SpaceX recently secured a $17 billion deal for additional spectrum from EchoStar and plans to expand from 650 to 15,000 satellites, potentially giving it superior capacity and leverage to win Apple's business.
