The Social Network 2 is coming next fall and stars Jeremy Strong as Mark Zuckerberg

The sequel to The Social Network arrives in theaters October 9, 2026, sixteen years after the original. Titled "The Social Reckoning," the film focuses on Facebook's legal and political troubles involving whistleblower Frances Haugen, who alleged the company knew its platform was harming society but took no action. Jeremy Strong from Succession takes over the Mark Zuckerberg role from Jesse Eisenberg, while Mikey Madison plays Haugen and Jeremy Allen White portrays the Wall Street Journal reporter who broke the story. Aaron Sorkin returns as both writer and director.
