Starlink V2 to bring satellite-to-phone service to Deutsche Telekom in Europe

Starlink has partnered with Deutsche Telekom to launch satellite-to-mobile connectivity across 10 European countries by 2028, serving over 140 million subscribers using next-generation V2 satellites and Mobile Satellite Service spectrum. Compatible smartphones will automatically switch to Starlink's satellite network when terrestrial coverage is unavailable, providing 5G speeds and access to data, voice, and messaging services in remote areas. This marks Europe's first major deployment of integrated satellite-to-phone connectivity by a telecom operator.
