Spotify tests a video feature for audiobooks as it ramps up video expansion

Spotify is rolling out new features to enhance audiobooks for premium users. These include 30-second video clips from authors, visuals that appear while listening, and dedicated author pages. The "Follow Along" feature adds illustrations and graphics to the listening experience, making it feel more like flipping through a physical book. These experiments are live for premium listeners in 10 countries where Spotify audiobooks are available, but only on mobile devices and for select authors and publishers.
