SpaceX tells the FCC that Starship Flight 14 is going to orbit

SpaceX has filed with the FCC for permission to fly Starlink terminals during Starship's 14th test flight, marking the first time the program will attempt a true orbital insertion. Unlike previous flights, the roughly 20 Starlink V3 satellites onboard could actually deploy into operational orbit if successful. Booster 21 completed a 33-engine static fire on August 28, with a September 15 target launch date circulating among pilots.
