Perplexity's iOS app gets an AI voice assistant

Perplexity has launched its AI voice assistant for iOS, expanding its availability to iPhone users. The assistant can perform various tasks by browsing the web and accessing other apps, such as booking restaurant reservations, drafting emails, creating reminders, and recommending places to visit. Unlike Apple's Intelligence feature, Perplexity's assistant works on older iPhone models. While it currently lacks visual recognition capabilities available on Android, this feature may be added in future updates.
