NASA launched a space telescope on Sunday that will give astronomers a much wider view of the universe

NASA launched the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope on Sunday, giving astronomers a powerful new tool for studying the universe at an unprecedented scale. Roman carries the same size mirror as Hubble but captures 100 times more sky per image and surveys up to 1,000 times faster. It will map billions of galaxies, search for roughly 100,000 exoplanets, and help scientists better understand dark matter and dark energy.
