Microsoft planning Surface Laptop with an OLED display

Microsoft is preparing to launch new Surface Pro and Surface Laptop models featuring Intel Core Ultra Series 3 and Qualcomm Snapdragon X2 processors, with the Surface Laptop getting an OLED display option for the first time. OLED screens will only be available on high-end models, while entry-level versions will use IPS panels. All new devices will start with 16GB RAM and 256GB storage. Microsoft will also upgrade the haptics system to provide tactile feedback for Windows 11 actions like window snapping and object alignment, with announcements expected in May-June.
