Max Hodak’s Science Corp. is preparing to place its first sensor in a human brain

Science Corporation, Max Hodak's startup valued at $1.5 billion, has partnered with Yale neurosurgeon Dr. Murat Günel to begin the first human trials of its revolutionary biohybrid brain-computer interface that combines lab-grown neurons with electronics. The device will be placed on top of patients' brains during existing surgeries to test its safety and ability to record brain activity.
