LisaGUI recreates Apple’s Lisa interface in your browser

Developer Andrew Yaros created LisaGUI, a JavaScript recreation of Apple's Lisa computer interface that runs in web browsers. The Lisa blurred distinctions between programs and documents by using stationery templates instead of traditional applications, eliminating save/load dialog boxes in favor of a document-centric approach. The original Lisa cost $32,500 in today's money and was commercially unsuccessful, making this browser-based recreation valuable for understanding computing concepts that influenced the Macintosh.
