Google strikes a deal with a nuclear startup to power its AI data centers

Google plans to partner with Kairos Power to build seven small modular nuclear reactors in the US, aiming to add 500 megawatts of nuclear power by 2035. This first-ever corporate deal for SMR power will help fuel Google's AI efforts, with the initial reactor expected to be operational by 2030, pending regulatory approvals.
