Figure AI designs Figure 03 humanoid for AI, home use, and scaling

Figure AI unveiled its Figure 03 humanoid robot, featuring major hardware and software redesigns for home use, AI integration, and mass production. The robot includes advanced tactile sensors detecting forces as small as three grams, upgraded cameras with twice the frame rate and 60% wider field of view, and wireless charging through foot coils. Figure 03 is 9% lighter than its predecessor and incorporates safety features like soft textiles and washable components for household use. The company plans to manufacture 100,000 humanoids over four years at its new BotQ facility, which can produce up to 12,000 robots annually.
