Fast & Furious director Justin Lin is making the Helldivers movie

Justin Lin, director of several Fast & Furious films and Star Trek Beyond, will direct the upcoming Helldivers movie adaptation, with horror writer Gary Dauberman penning the script. Lin's experience with stylish action and space adventures makes him well-suited for the project, which is based on the popular co-op shooter game set in a satirical, hyper-patriotic dystopia inspired by Starship Troopers. Sony has not yet announced a release date for the film.
