Chrome finally gets vertical tabs, plus an improved Reading Mode

Chrome is rolling out vertical tabs functionality starting April 7, allowing users to move tabs to a left sidebar that displays full page titles and makes tab groups easier to manage. This feature, which competitors like Microsoft Edge and Firefox have offered for years, can be toggled by right-clicking and selecting "Show Tabs Vertically." Chrome also introduced an improved Reading Mode that opens in full-page view with text-to-speech controls and customization options for fonts, colors, and spacing.
