Bliq gets the green light for driverless cars in Finland

Bliq.ai has received approval to operate driverless vehicles on public roads in Finland, making it the startup's second EU market after Estonia. Testing begins in Helsinki with a safety driver onboard, specifically targeting the harsh Nordic winter to stress-test its system. Unlike typical robotaxi companies, Bliq retrofits existing vehicles with sensors and software rather than building its own cars, with Germany as its next target.
