The company currently provides 250,000 paid rides weekly and has accumulated 71 million autonomous miles, with data showing their vehicles cause 88% fewer serious injuries and 78% fewer injury-causing accidents compared to human drivers. Waymo's newest AI system, Emma, built on Google's Gemini technology, can now handle complex real-world driving scenarios that previous generations couldn't manage safely.
