Amazon has added a new AI-powered custom merchandise feature to its Alexa for Shopping platform, letting U.S. customers describe design ideas through prompts and have them printed on T-shirts, hoodies, tumblers, and more. The tool runs through Amazon's existing Merch on Demand platform, meaning Amazon handles everything from printing to delivery, including fast Prime shipping — putting direct pressure on competitors like Etsy and Printful.
