Amazon Can Now Deliver Your Next iPhone With a Drone

Flying robots delivering pocket-sized computers? It's not science fiction anymore. Amazon's Prime Air drone service just got FAA approval to expand its offerings, including Apple products like iPhones and AirPods.

"It might sound like a scene from The Jetsons," says an Amazon spokesperson, "but it's now a very real possibility."

Currently limited to parts of Arizona and Texas, the service promises deliveries in under an hour for items weighing up to five pounds. But there's a catch - your backyard needs to be drone-friendly.

While only available in two U.S. cities for now, Amazon plans to spread its wings to more locations, including the UK and Italy, pending regulatory green lights.
