All Four iPhone 17 Models Again Rumored to Feature Apple-Designed Wi-Fi 7 Chip

Apple plans to introduce a custom-designed Wi-Fi 7 chip in all four iPhone 17 models later this year, according to analyst Jeff Pu. This move continues Apple's efforts to design more of its own components, reducing reliance on external suppliers like Qualcomm and Broadcom. Wi-Fi 7 offers faster speeds up to 40 Gbps, lower latency, and more reliable connectivity by using multiple frequency bands simultaneously. The new iPhones are expected to launch in about six months.
