Alexa+ can now answer your Ring doorbell and talk to people

Amazon launched Alexa+ Greetings, allowing the AI assistant to answer Ring doorbells and have conversations with visitors on behalf of homeowners. The feature uses visual recognition to identify visitors by their clothing, actions, or items they're carrying, then responds appropriately—like directing delivery drivers to leave packages or politely dismissing salespeople. Available only on newer Ring models with premium subscriptions, the technology can distinguish between different types of visitors and manage interactions whether residents are home or away.
