Airwallex is about to take on Stripe and the rest of the payments industry — in the physical world

Australian fintech Airwallex is launching a point-of-sale product that allows businesses to accept in-person payments across multiple countries through a single platform, directly challenging Stripe, Square, and Adyen in physical retail payments. The company leverages its extensive global infrastructure of 90 regulatory licenses across 50 markets to offer unified payment processing without requiring separate local vendors in each country.
