AirTag’s newest feature could work even better now for many travelers

Apple partnered with Delta to create a new API that allows AirTag location data to flow directly into airline baggage systems, making lost luggage recovery faster and more automated. This upgrade builds on Apple's existing Share Item Location feature by eliminating manual steps for airline workers, with the technology expected to roll out to other major airlines beyond Delta.
