A major hacking tool has leaked online, putting millions of iPhones at risk. Here’s what you need to know

Security researchers discovered that advanced iPhone hacking tools called Coruna and DarkSword, originally developed by government agencies and defense contractors, have been used by spies and cybercriminals to steal data from Apple devices worldwide. Part of DarkSword has now leaked onto GitHub, creating a "plug-and-play" threat that puts hundreds of millions of iPhones and iPads running outdated software at risk of attack through malicious websites.
