3D printer revolution? Prusa ColorMix offers new possibilities for color printing

Prusa has introduced ColorMix, a new open-source system that could transform multicolor 3D printing by blending colors in layers rather than switching filaments. Similar to how ink dots mix in standard printers, the system stacks differently colored layers that visually merge into new shades. While mixing ratios and color range have some limitations, the workflow is built directly into PrusaSlicer, and a full CMYKW color set is in development.
