SMRTR summary

HD Hyundai Mipo has started constructing the world's first ammonia-powered ship for EXMAR. The vessel will have a dual-fuel engine running on conventional marine fuels and ammonia, a carbon-free alternative, to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in shipping. Two of six planned midsize gas carriers were recently named. These 190-meter ships can hold 46,000 cubic meters of liquefied gas and include eco-friendly and safety features.
