US’ electric aircraft achieves first pilot-controlled flight using runway takeoff

Archer's Midnight eVTOL aircraft completed its first pilot-controlled flight, taking off from a conventional runway. Chief test pilot Jeff Greenwood flew the aircraft at speeds of 125 mph and altitudes over 1,500 feet. This test showcases Midnight's versatility in both runway and vertical takeoff operations.
