Scientists yield 789 kg oil, 891 MWh solar power per hectare yearly from same land

Scientists have developed a model showing the efficiency of combining solar power and olive oil production on shared land. This "agrivoltaic" approach yields 789 kg of oil and 891 MWh of electricity per hectare annually. The study demonstrates that joint production is more effective than separate activities, with solar panels shading olive trees and plants cooling the panels.
