Scientists to study dogs, goats to predict earthquakes, volcanic eruptions

Goats have shown promise in predicting volcanic eruptions, while various animals have predicted most major earthquakes in Italy over 12 years. The initiative aims to create a global network with six satellites to monitor wildlife movements worldwide. Advanced tagging technology now allows tracking of most vertebrate species, even small creatures like hawkmoths.
