Rapidly rendering fractals on stupidly unsuitable machines

The article details enhancements to a BBC Micro Mandelbrot set generator. Precision was increased from 13-bit to 14-bit integers, enabling deeper zooms and improved image quality. This was accomplished by utilizing the BBC Master's memory layout to expand the square lookup table. The program now renders both Mandelbrot and Julia sets, with adjustable parameters. These optimizations result in faster rendering times of about 30 seconds per image, while maintaining quality on the limited hardware.
