First-ever image of China's mysterious 'quasi moon' probe revealed weeks after it secretly launched into space

China has unveiled the first photo of its secretive Tianwen 2 spacecraft, launched on May 29. The probe will attempt to collect samples from Kamo'oalewa, a quasi-moon of Earth, in 2026. The image reveals a 10-sided solar panel, suggesting similarities to NASA's Lucy spacecraft. After sample collection, Tianwen 2 will drop the asteroid fragments to Earth in 2027 before visiting a comet-asteroid hybrid in 2035. This mission marks China's latest advancement in space exploration and asteroid sample collection.
