ETM brings its transverse flux motor technology to robotics

Electric Torque Machines has entered the robotics market with its transverse flux motor (TFM) technology, which decouples magnetic flux from electrical windings to deliver up to 10 times greater torque density than conventional motors. The technology eliminates traditional trade-offs between efficiency and performance by combining high torque density with improved thermal management and reduced manufacturing costs. ETM offers the technology through a licensing model that allows robotics manufacturers to integrate TFM into their platforms while maintaining manufacturing control.
