China’s smart ‘band-aid’ for organs delivers medicines wirelessly on demand

Chinese researchers have developed a wireless, paper-thin "NanoFLUID" patch for targeted drug delivery. The patch combines flexible electronics and micro-nano processing technologies, safely perforating cell membranes at low voltage. Tested successfully in treating breast tumors and acute liver injury, it shows promise for future cancer and trauma treatments.
