China launched the world's largest car carrier capable of transporting 10,800 vehicles, built by state-owned Guangzhou Shipyard International for South Korea's HMM shipping company. The 755-foot vessel runs on cleaner liquefied natural gas dual-fuel technology and meets strict international emission standards, reflecting the maritime industry's push toward environmental compliance. With its flexible 14-deck design accommodating conventional cars, electric vehicles, and trucks, the ship supports China's growing automotive exports of over seven million vehicles annually.
