China has developed the largest drone carrier in the world — and it's getting ready for takeoff

China's Jiu Tian, the world's largest drone carrier, is set to deploy by June's end. This 11-ton unmanned vehicle can carry 100 smaller drones and travel 4,350 miles. It has potential military applications, including launching drone swarms to overwhelm air defenses. The Jiu Tian could also be used for disaster relief, emergency response, and resource monitoring. Its first mission will involve operational tests.
