BuiltWorlds reports that the construction industry may be warming to robotics

Construction industry adoption of robotics is slowly increasing, according to a new report from BuiltWorlds. Nearly two-thirds of surveyed contractors use monitoring or service/labor robotics, while 35% use autonomous heavy equipment. The main driver is a growing labor shortage, with over 500,000 open positions in the industry. Dusty Robotics emerged as a leading provider, receiving high ratings for adoption, ease of use, and performance. Despite this progress, widespread adoption faces challenges including BIM underutilization, risk concerns, and high upfront costs. The report suggests robotics could significantly improve safety, efficiency, and productivity in construction.
